African Savannah
€90,00
During his 1897 savannah expedition, Captain Palmer documented an unforgettable sunset scene in his journal. "As evening descended upon the grasslands, a solitary giraffe stood silhouetted against the amber sky," he wrote for the Royal Geographical Society. His detailed sketches captured the animal's graceful form amid the golden savannah grass, with distant mountains framing the horizon as the sun dipped below the peaks. Palmer noted how the fading light transformed the entire landscape into shades of gold and orange. This striking journal entry from Palmer's African Adventure has been transformed into a hand-painted artwork on a wooden jewelry box by Emőke.
